RVA is a single-acting spring energized rod seal energised by a special spring. The advantage of the RVA spring energised seals lies in its low friction and relatively constant preloading force over a relatively large deformation range. The spring energized ptfe lip seals is used wherever friction has to be kept within a narrow tolerance zone, for instance in pressure switches.

Outer Ring: PTFE or filled polytetrafluoroethylene (FPTFE)
Spring: Stainless steel (available in V-shape, O-shape, and H-shape structures).
RVA Spring Seals Application:
Vari Seals are used for sealing in reciprocating motion. This type of ptfe rotary lip seal is suitable for harsh operating conditions and can meet the requirements of certain special media. It is recommended for applications that require no crawling, chemical resistance, and compatibility with most media, such as valves, pumps, separators, brakes, dosing devices, etc.
