What is the different name of floating oil seal?

Floating seal also called as duo cone seal、face seals、heavy-duty seals、axial face seals、 lifetime Seal 、toric Seal, is a metal/mechanical face seal、dynamic face seals、Mechanische Laufwerkdichtungen (German), Механични Челни Уплътнения (Bulgarian), Mekaniske aksialtætninger (Danish), Mekaaninen otsatiiviste (Finnish), Joints d’Etanchéité Axiaux (French), Mechaniczne Uszczelnienie Czołowe (Polish), Juntas espejo (Spanish), Mekaniska.

Floating seal types

According to the rubber sealing shape, there are two types of floating seals. Both types of metal mechanical face seals consist of two identical metal sealing rings that interact and seal against each other on a closely ground sealing surface.

DO Type: which features an O-ring as an auxiliary sealing element.
DF Type: uses a diamond-section synthetic rubber instead of an O-ring to assist in sealing.

The metal ring of our floating oil seal is made of high-nickel alloy cast iron (4ni2cr1mo) + NBR O-ring or square ring, maintaining excellent and stable sealing performance. The surface hardness is 58-64 degrees, the roughness of the working surface can be less than 0.10 μm, the working temperature is between -40°C and +120°C, and the special high-temperature-resistant hydrogenated nitrile rubber is high to 200°C.
It can withstand extreme wear, and the material can also be adjusted according to your needs. Each seal is strictly tested and inspected.

We use centrifugal casting, which is the same process as the NOK seals. The centrifugal casting floating ring seal is more wear-resistant and durable than the bearing steel-forged floating seal, and it can be used under high temperature, high pressure, and high-speed conditions.
