GSD Piston Seal is a single-acting hydraulic cylinder seal, composed of a filled PTFE ring and an O-ring rubber seal. The O-ring offers elasticity and compensates for the wear of the PTFE ring, leading to a unidirectional sealing effect. It is suitably used in hydraulic cylinder pistons and is commonly combined with a guide ring to enhance the sealing performance.
Design Description:
The GSD piston seal exhibits outstanding sealing performance and is suitable for applications demanding precise positioning and oil-free lubrication. The contact area of the seal is small, generating low friction.
Application Scope:
It is used for unidirectional pistons in hydraulic components, such as injection molding machines, machine tools, and presses. It is particularly recommended to be used as the first seal on the pressure oil side of piston accumulators, in conjunction with DAQ seals or AQ5 seals.
